Medieval Churches
There are seven medieval churches in the New Forest but only four of them are within the National Park boundary.

Some of them started as chapels and have been replaced with later churches, and many new ones were built to serve the increased population and different denominations, particularly in the late 18th and 19th centuries.

These four churches are:

  • All Saints, Church Lane, Minstead
  • St John the Baptist, Church Lane, Boldre
  • St Michael and All Angels, High Street, Lyndhurst
  • St Nicholas, Church Lane, Brockenhurst

Select the church name from the drop-down menu to see and read more about them.
