Vereley Hill car park entrance. This car park is on the opposite side of the road to Vereley and it is subject to winter closures (1 November - 31 March). Vereley is the alternate parking area during this period.

This path leads from the car park through 'Vereley Wood', over a small footbridge (in centre of photo) crossing Mill Lawn Brook, and takes you to 'Ridley Wood.' There are many more footpaths leading off in all directions if you wish to explore.
Further along the main footpath to Ridley Wood, I came across this fallen tree on a lesser trodden grassy footpath.
Have emerged from Vereley Wood now and into a bit of heathland. Ridley Wood is in the distance, over ground that can become very boggy in places.
A further example of how boggy the ground can get.
